Our Board meets once a month, on the first Friday of the month at noon via zoom.

Executive Assistant

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the Executive Director with company and client records, fundraising tasks, volunteer development, answer phone calls, keep both the virtual office and home office of the Executive Director, organized and running efficiently, gather and share community resources, provide a welcoming smile and listening ear. Commit to one year of service.

 

Qualifications:

Individual must have strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and be experienced with Microsoft Office and Google products. Ability to work independently and be a creative problem-solver. Be a team player and an empathetic listener who can also motivate clients to take action. Volunteer must exhibit a high degree of ethics and integrity in dealing with personal data.

Grant Writer/Researcher

 

The Grant Writer is responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to secure funding for the organization. This position will also work with other members of the development team to develop and implement grant-

related strategies.

​

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential grant opportunities

  • Write clear, concise, and persuasive grant proposals

  • Collaborate with other members of the development team to develop and implement grant-related strategies

  • Track the progress of grant applications and report on results

  • Maintain a database of grant information

 

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years grant writing experience preferred

  • Must have the ability to understand the grant writing possess

  • Ability to understand and execute complex instructions

  • Excellent writing and grammar skills

  • Excellent research and proofreading skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or a related field and/or related experience (Preferred)

Social Media Manager Intern

 

We appreciate your interest in this position and while we are asking you to perform in needed role at LeadershipExcellenceforWomenbyWomen (LEWW), the most important thing is that you be passionate about the work we are doing in the community and have fun!

As a social media manager for LEWW,  your role would involve managing and implementing social media strategies to

promote the organization's mission, engage with the audience, and drive awareness and support for our cause.

​

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Work with the leadership team of LEWW to develop a social media strategy aligned with the organization's goals. Identify target audiences and create content that resonates with them.

  • Content Creation: Create compelling and shareable content, including text, images, videos, and infographics, that effectively communicates HELP FROM HATTIE's message. Highlight success stories, program impact, and ways for supporters to get involved.

  • Social Media Platforms: Identify the most suitable social media platforms for the nonprofit's target audience. which currently include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube. Be able to tailor content to fit each platform's unique format and audience preferences.

  • Community Engagement: Engage with followers, supporters, and influencers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions. Foster a sense of community by actively participating in conversations and showcasing appreciation for supporters.

  • Campaign Management: Coordinate social media campaigns to raise awareness, drive donations, and mobilize supporters. Utilize various campaign tactics, such as hashtags, challenges, and live events, to amplify reach and engagement. *with support from other members of the team

  • Analytics and Insights: Monitor social media metrics, such as reach, engagement, and conversions, using tools like Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, and Google Analytics. Use data to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions for future improvements. *preferred not required

  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify opportunities for collaborations with other nonprofits and organizations in related fields and discuss in team meetings.

  • Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms. Stay informed about best practices and new features to maximize the nonprofit's social media presence.

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure consistent branding across all social media channels, including the use of the nonprofit's logo, colors, and messaging. Maintain a unified voice and tone that reflects the organization's values and mission of DE&I.

  • Advocacy and Storytelling: Leverage social media platforms to advocate for the nonprofit's cause and share compelling stories that inspire action. Highlight the impact of the organization's work through personal stories, testimonials, and visual content. *with support of other team members

  • LEWW wants to build a stronger social media presence than we currently have and that will require consistent effort, creativity, and a deep understanding of our target audiences. It's important to be authentic, empathetic, and passionate about our cause because we are.
